About The Content Planner
I’ll get into my favorite features shortly, but here’s a little info about this amazing planner.
The Content Planner is the only physical planning system for your blog and social media. That’s right- this tool is truly one of a kind.
As a paper and pen kinda gal, I was having trouble finding a blogging planner that I could hold in my hands. There are great online tools and some amazing regular planners, but there was no physical resource I could find solely dedicated to planning out my content…until I found this.
My Favorite Features
I love The Content Planner for a lot of reasons, but here are some of the reasons why:
1. It's Fillable / Customizable
This is one of the first things that drew me into the content planner. I love writing in physical planners, but sometimes I’ll have a crazy busy month (I’m looking at you, December) and won’t plan. When I open up my planner the next month, I feel guilty wasting pages that I could have used but wasn’t able to.
Thankfully, The Content Planner solves this issue by being fillable. It comes with monthly stickers (one to put on the monthly spread and one to use as a tab) which allows you to label the months as you go.
Plus, the planner is 15 months versus the usual 12, so if you’re super big picture, you can plan out for more than a year in advance. No more wasted space (or money)!
2. It's PRETTY
I know that there are a lot of pretty planners on the market, but y’all, I’ve never seen a planner like this.
THE PLANNER
Kat Gaskin (the creator of the Content Planner) releases beautiful color schemes every year. They change every launch and her audience plays a huge role in deciding what the options will be. Pretty cool, huh?
The color schemes are always eye-catching and unique. For 2020, the colors are sunshine yellow and emerald green, or powder blue and pacific- two color combos that I’ve never seen for a planner.
Whether you choose the wintery or summery route, this planner is guaranteed to immediately brighten up your workspace!
THE BOX
While the planner would be pretty enough on its own, it also comes with a box. Not the box it’s shipped in- an actual, branded box that’s meant to store your planner safe and sound.
The box also gives you room to store a few other planner essentials (for me it’s my favorite pen & highlighter) so you can just grab the box and get to planning.
THE STICKERS
While the planner and box are definite selling points, there is something equally exciting about the design- the inclusion of stickers!
I don’t know about you, but I’ll never be too old for stickers. Like, ever.
They add color & variety to my planning space, and include everything from the YouTube icon to an airplane for vacay reminders to an envelope for emails.
If you’re a visual person, the stickers really help give a clear picture of your content plan in the blink of an eye. Plus, they’re fun!
3. Goal-Setting
Did you know that you are 42% more likely to accomplish your goals if you write them down?
Thankfully, The Content Planner has a dedicated space for writing down allll the things you want to achieve.
By having a section for monthly goals and a space where you can break down those goals into weekly tasks, being intentional with your time and to-do lists has never been easier!
And, if the goal-setting spaces weren’t enough, The Content Planner also includes an On Your Radar section. This is dedicated to writing down anything in the future you should start thinking about, like upcoming events, launches, etc.
4. Celebrates The Little Things
With everything that’s going on in our businesses (not to mention our day-to-day lives), it can be hard to keep track of the little things. Thankfully, The Content Planner makes sure we won’t forget these milestones, and will have something to look back on and be proud of in the future.
SMALL WINS
Small wins (things like getting your first client or starting your Instagram) can seem silly to track, but these can actually increase your mood almost as much as monumental accomplishments.
At the end of each week, there’s a dedicated space for small wins. This is one of my favorite parts of the planner because it forces me to take a step back and look at something I was proud of accomplishing or achieving that week.
My small wins include everything from “received a raving client review” or “took an entire day off to recharge”. These will look different for everyone, but I thoroughly enjoying filling out this space- and hopefully you will too!
YOUR ANALYTICS
The planner also has a section for tracking your beginning and end of month numbers. Whether you’re trying to grow your YouTube channel, expand your Instagram following, or start your email list, this will allow you to see your progress month over month.
Wrapping Up
From a fillable spread to growth tracking (and many features not even mentioned!), The Content Planner has everything I’ve ever wanted to plan my content.
It’s great for all types of creatives- bloggers, influencers, shop owners, speakers…the list goes on and on. If you want to decrease your stress and increase your free time, this planner is perfect.
GRAB THE PLANNER BEFORE IT'S GONE
And if you’re still on the fence about purchasing, I would highly recommend checking out some of Kat’s free resources. My personal favorite is the 7 Day #planher challenge, but whatever you choose, I promise Kat won’t steer you wrong!
This is absolutely INCREDIBLE!! Thank you so much for featuring The Content Planner. – Kat
