I don’t know about you, but life lately has been a wild ride.
For a few months now I’ve been in a blog-writing funk. One of my goals this month was to publish a new post (reselling-related or not) because I truly do love this outlet to share my thoughts, opinions, and feelings with y’all.
So, instead of my normal blog posts, I thought I’d do something fun and share my favorite buys this month! This was a blast to put together, so I’m hoping this means more posts are coming your way again soon ❤️️
Overview
Some of these items are tried & true, and others are brand spankin’ new! I hope you love them as much as I do:
Business Tools
1. PENS
If you follow me on Instagram, you’ve probably seen/heard me say that I’m a paper & pen gal alllllll the way.
I don’t know about you, but I love gel pens, especially these ones! The colors are really vibrant, they write smoothly & don’t smear, and they last a long time.
These are my go-to for writing thank you cards to customers, filling out my planner, or jotting down ideas in my notebook. They’re great for day-to-day biz ventures or personal use!
2. QUICKBOOKS SELF-EMPLOYED
I finally filed my taxes this month (woo!) & since I filed with TurboTax, I received a complimentary subscription of QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
QBSE helps self-employed individuals organize business transactions for tax purposes. All money going in AND out from your linked bank account is categorized so when tax time comes around your expenses are easily identifiable.
It also helps with your Schedule C and estimated quarterly taxes which is one of my favorite features! Bookkeeping is one of the most stressful aspects of my business, and it’s made keeping track of everything this month a breeze.
If you’re a small business owner that wants to prepare for tax time in advance, you can get 50% off your first six months of QBSE by using the link here!
3. STYLUS
Since I’m on my phone or iPad a majority of the day, I wanted a tool to that I could use for a more precise touch, without breaking the bank.
I’ve only been using this for a month, but it’s been an awesome addition to my business thus far. It holds a charge extremely well, is Bluetooth, and is way more accurate than using my finger!
Personal
4. SCALP MASSAGER
Not gonna lie, my hair has been WEIRD during quarantine. It had an almost sticky feeling to it for a bit (I think it was the new shampoo I tried using) so I wanted to try one of these babies & see if I could bring my hair back to life.
Pretty much, it’s a silicone brush that you manually use to massage & deep clean your scalp. It promotes blood circulation, which helps decrease dandruff/residue & increase nutrients, promoting healthy hair.
I’m not sure if it’s this or changing my shampoo, but my hair seems to slowly be returning to normal (thank gosh). Even if my shampoo was to blame, I still like using this to massage my scalp… the bristles are firm enough to massage, but not too firm to the point where it’s uncomfortable/painful.
5. SANUK SANDALS
These are (by far) the best pairs of shoes that I own. I’ve had these for years & talk about them whenever I get the chance!
Sanuks come in lots of solid patterns & fun prints, and are great for summer. I’ve worn mine multiple times on vacation and they make such a perfect walking shoe!
I especially love them because they’re sooooo comfortable. The soles are made of yoga mat material, which makes them durable AND comfy. They’re also made of partially recycled materials which makes me love them even more!
6. LUSH BUBBLE BAR
The TOP item on this list (according to me, of course). If you love a good ole’ bubble bath, this one’s for you!
Completely natural with no plastic packaging, this is a great sustainable option for any bath lover. Just break the bar into pieces, crumble it under running water, & watch the bubbles appear!
This bar is made with mandarin & tangerine oil, making it the perfect summery scent! If citrus isn’t your fave, there are lots of other options to explore here.

7. VENDOO
These past few months I have seriously slacked on crosslisting…and my sales have suffered for it. I wanted a tool that could help me easily & consistently crosslist, and decided to go with Vendoo.
Vendoo allows you to easily crosspost your items- all from one place. Just list your item from within the Google Chrom extension & easily crosslist, or import the listing photos/info from a previously existing listing and post to the sites of your choice.
Personally, I love that Vendoo keeps track of what’s crossposted and what isn’t! It makes it really easy for me to know what to upload next.
If you want to try Vendoo yourself, click this link to receive 25% off your first six months!
NOTE: In order to receive the discount, you must purchase the subscription from the same device you used to create your account.
8. SWEATER SHAVER
After being on the hunt for a good sweater shaver for what seems like forever, I think I’ve finally found the one 😍
This guy is a little more hefty & pricey compared to other shavers on the market, so don’t feel the need to break the bank if you have one you already use & love!
However, after I went through three sweater shavers (two stopped working & one was notorious for making holes in, well…everything) I decided to make the investment in the Wonder Lint.
It quickly bring garments back to life by removing pilling & lint and comes with replacement blades. It also works with batteries OR by being plugged into the wall, which I appreciate.
It’s so satisfying to see the difference it makes and to be able to give clothing a second life because of it! I’ve been using it for months with no issues, and if you’re not satisfied it comes with a money back guarantee.
9. STICKY TILES
More formally known as self-adhesive vinyl tile, this DIY backdrop has quickly became a staple in my reselling biz.
I’ve had a dark gray version for awhile, but this light gray/white one from Menard’s has become my favorite.
It’s lightweight so easily transportable, and looks beautiful in natural light. I lay a few of them side by side in my office & they make the perfect flatlay backdrop!
